Zerbst - Lindau - Garitz

In Zernitz, there is an alpaca farm with a farm shop. From here, you can see the historic grain silo in Buhlendorf. By appointment, you can also visit this and the agricultural exhibition inside or plan your next big celebration in the historic building. A recommended visit is the Lindau Castle. In Bärenthoren, Friedrich von Kalitsch pioneered new paths in forestry with the permanent forest 100 years ago. A foundation newly established in 2022 aims to preserve this knowledge, further develop it, and strengthen it in today's environmental education.  https://stiftung-dauerwald-baerenthoren.de/ .

Notable highlights are set by the Lichtungen project – contemporary stained glass in Anhalt churches. Four of these artworks are located along our route. The town church of Lindau, St. Johannis in Grimme, St. Michaelis in Kleinleitzkau, and the village church in Mühlsdorf.

In Garitz, there is the Village Church Museum, where you can find handcrafted models of almost all Fläming churches. Including those you have not yet cycled past this time.
