Nah beieinander liegen die barocke St. Trinitatis Kirche und die gotische St. Nicolai Kirche. St. Nicolai, einst die größte Kirche in Anhalt im 16 Jh., wurde
im 2. Weltkrieg schwer zerstört und so belassen. Ebenfalls zerstört, aber komplett wieder aufgebaut wurde St. Trinitatis. Alte Gemälde aus dem 16 Jh., das große Taufaltarbild von Peter Paul Rubens und der 800 Jahre alte Taufstein verweisen auf die frühere reiche Ausstattung der Kirche.
