Die Kirche wurde 1891 im Stil des Historismus errichtet, die Apsis nach der Wende erneuert. Bauelemente verschiedener Stile wurden hier kombiniert. Die einfache Einrichtung stammt aus der Erbauungszeit. Im Altarraum befinden sich drei farbige Bleiglasfenster, im mittleren ist Christus mit einem Buch in der Hand dargestellt, rechts und links Brot und Wein symbolisiert. Die Orgel von 1881 ist eine Arbeit des Orgelbaumeisters Rühlmann in Zörbig. Die Bronzeglocke goss Johann Koch im Jahr 1704.
Seit 2010 wächst in der Lusoer Kirche eine Sammlung von Gesangbüchern.
Hier können Sie singen, lesen, beten … und dann auf dem Lutherweg weiterpilgern. Die Gesangbuchkirche Luso nahe Zerbst ist immer für Sie geöffnet. Wenn Sie selbst alte Gesangbücher abgeben oder mehr wissen möchten, ist dies möglich.
