Start is at Hochspeyer train station and immediately turn right onto the narrow path along the stream (alternatively, go ahead to the main road, turn right to the first railway bridge) and at the first railway bridge, reach the main road, then go under the 2nd railway bridge, then immediately turn right onto the bike path that goes to Frankenstein – Diemersteinertal
Landgasthof Schlossberg – upon arrival at Frankenstein, continue on the B 37 to the town outskirts - now on the left side onto the bike path to the Leinbachtal – Bordmühle at the Leinbach – into the Leinbachtal (about 10 km in length) along the Leinbach – logging works – in the middle a rest stop at Forstmeister Emil Haupt Platz – continue to Waldleiningen (catering available) sandstone animal enclosure in the village – then continue on the L 504 uphill for about 2.8 km to the stable – on the B 48 towards Hochspeyer for about 4 km until turning left at a sharp angle onto a wide forest path – now the path goes for about 4 km winding but away from traffic to the Rätselhafte Zeitzeichen (RZ) Station 7 – then downhill on the wide path (cautiously ride slowly on gravel surface) to the bike path (about 1.5 km) at the B 37 and then right onto the bike path to Hochspeyer roundabout with Celtic gate and a little further to the Swedish Cross – then further into Hochspeyer and after the fire station turn right into Rotentalstraße and immediately left along the railway embankment to Hochspeyer train station
