    Roadbook

Stage 1: Ulm – Ochsenhausen (approx. 52 km)
Ulm, attractively located on the banks of the Danube, marks the beginning of the exciting circular route. After admiring the minster and the town hall in Ulm, we proceed along the Iller river southwards. Passing Laupheim with its Großlaupheim castle, we continue into the Rottum valley. We pass quiet villages such as Mietingen, Schönebürg and Reinstetten and can shortly catch the first glimpse of Ochsenhausen and the impressive monastery complex.

Stage 2: Ochsenhausen – Leutkirch (approx. 44 km)
On our second stage, we embark on a ride through wide landscapes and historic towns. The highlight of the day is the Wurzacher Ried, one of the most important moor areas in southern Germany, the spa town of the same name, as well as the town of Leutkirch.

Stage 3: Leutkirch – Wangen (approx. 49 km)

South of Leutkirch, the Oberschwaben-Allgäu cycle route leads through the idyllic Allgäu, from Leutkirch via Isny to Wangen.

Stage 4: Wangen – Markdorf (Oberteuringen) (approx. 47 km)

With views of the shining Lake Constance and the mighty Alpine mountain range behind it, we pass historically grown towns such as Neukirch, Tettnang and Oberteuringen.

Stage 5: Markdorf – Aulendorf (approx. 53 km)
The Schussenried monastery and the old town of Bad Saulgau, along with the Federsee and the Federsee Museum, are the major attractions of the stage. The thermal baths in Bad Saulgau and Bad Buchau offer cozy warmth.

Stage 6: Aulendorf - Oberstadion (approx. 40-50 km)
On this stage, you cycle almost all around the Federsee and explore the villages of northern Oberschwaben. The destination is Oberstadion.

Stage 7: Oberstadion – Ulm (approx. 45 km)
On the last part of the route, you can enjoy views over the Danube valley. You pass Ehingen, whose town centre is dominated by the current district court and the marketplace.
