Der Horach ist der höchste Punkt von Friedrichshafen und der einzige, der mit 501,6 m die 500 m-Marke übersteigt.

Im Süden blickt man auf dem Bodensee, die Alpen, auf Friedrichshafen, Berg und Ailingen. Besonders schön zeigt sich die Haldenbergkapelle auf ihrem langgezogenen Hügel, dem nächsten Ziel. Auf einer Lichtung befindet sich ein kleiner Kinderspielplatz mit viel Platz für ein gemütliches Familienpicknick.
