Between green hills and endless meadows, typical towns and villages of the Ried and the Alsace Wine Route, explore at your own pace a bucolic 40 km route!
Traveling between the vineyard and the plain by bike guarantees discovering unique heritage sites, cycling in a bucolic setting made up of vineyard and meadow landscapes, and stopping to discover the city of Sélestat, which you will cross twice (the visit route on The Lion’s Steps and the Giant Sletto, the Humanist Library and the Alsace Bread House are the must-sees of the Humanist City).
Châtenois and its rampart district house a unique bell tower with turrets and glazed tiles.
Scherwiller, known for its Riesling and its picturesque houses built along the Aubach, is dominated by the protective silhouette of Ortenbourg.
Finally, on the plain, the abbey church of Ebersmunster, with its three bell towers and rich baroque decor, is the highlight to discover during your visit.
