Erected in 1905, it was consecrated on September 23, 1906 and dedicated to the Holy Cross. With a cruciform plan and neo-Gothic style, it is perched in the middle of the vineyard at the foot of the Rittersberg.

This chapel was erected in 1905, on the site of a former pilgrimage site. It was consecrated on September 23, 1906 and dedicated to the Holy Cross.
Cruciform in plan and neo-Gothic in style, it is perched in the middle of the vineyards at the foot of the Rittersberg. It remains a privileged place for strolling, with views over the village and the plain. You'll find yourself at the start of the short wine trail (approx. 1h) and the hike to Ortenbourg castle.
The sanctuary is maintained by benefactors.
