Nadelgrat via Galenjoch from Bordier Hut
The Nadelgrat is a four-kilometer-long perfection of gneiss, snow, and ice. It connects four 4,000-meter peaks: the Dürrehorn, Hohberghorn, Stecknadelhorn, and the Nadelhorn itself, making it one of the most spectacular ridge routes in the Valais Alps.
The length of the route, the sustained climbing difficulties up to grade III, the altitude, and the exposure make the Nadelgrat physically but also mentally very demanding.
