Crossing from the Taschachhaus over the Rear Brunnenkogel to the Braunschweiger Hut

From the Taschachhaus, start southwards on the Rimslsteig up to the Taschachferner. Once you reach the first glacier arms, cross the glacier northeast towards Rear Brunnenkogel. After the glacier crossing, follow the marked path along the lateral moraine eastwards up to an altitude of 3,040 m. Here, the Pitztal Glacier Trail branches off northwards and leads over several secured but well-developed passages up to the Rear Brunnenkogel (3,440 m). From there, descend over the Brunnenkogelferner initially towards the Pitztalexpress mountain station (2,841 m), before continuing east on a red-marked path on the south side of Grabkogel heading towards the Mittelbergferner. This is crossed before finally ascending slightly to the Braunschweiger Hut (2,759 m).
