The Anhalt-Dessau-Wittenberg World Heritage Region is located between the metropolises of Berlin and Leipzig and uniquely offers a wealth of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
In addition to the Luther Memorials in the Lutherstadt Wittenberg, the Bauhaus buildings in Dessau, and the Garden Realm Dessau-Wörlitz, the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Middle Elbe is also part of the region. But that's not all: visit the witnesses of industry and mining history in Gräfenhainichen and Bitterfeld-Wolfen, the numerous lakes, and the two nature parks Fläming and Düben Heath!
Over 700 km of bike paths in the region invite you to day trips, star tours, or longer cycling vacations. On the Elbe Cycle Route, the EuroVelo Route R1, the Berlin-Leipzig Cycle Route, the Fläming Cycle Path, or the Coal | Steam | Light | Lakes Cycle and Adventure Route, you can discover the region's diversity.
