A unique destination for people, who respect and understand nature.
Bohinj lies in the heart of the Julian Alps. The largest and highest mountain group in Slovenia, it is also the most extreme south-eastern part of the Alps. Bohinj comprises the Nomenj Basin, the Lower and Upper Bohinj Valley, the Lake Basin, the Pokljuka and Jelovica plateaus and the high mountains.
The most recognisable natural beauty is Lake Bohinj, the largest natural permanent lake in Slovenia.
