Our heart beats for hiking! We promote and appreciate walking as an exciting, environmentally friendly, health-promoting leisure activity and see it as an important contribution to understanding nature and culture. Since 1962, we have been committed to an attractive network of hiking trails in Schwyz: comprehensive, safe, uniformly signposted, and running as much as possible on natural paths. As a non-profit association, we take care of all matters related to hiking and represent the interests of hikers. We support the canton and municipalities in planning and developing the trail network, thus improving the quality of the 1700 km of hiking trails in the canton of Schwyz.
