The Allgäu-Kempten section of the German Alpine Club is a modern club with a long tradition. Our section, with over 22,000 members, is one of the largest sections in the DAV. In Kempten, we are the largest club and also one of the largest sports clubs in Bavaria. We represent the interests of all mountaineers and climbers in the region and offer all mountain sports and nature enthusiasts a home in our club. And that has been the case since 1871.
