From the free parking lot at the village lift Elbigenalp first along the edge of the moderately steep ski slope up to the mountain station. Via the marked summer path through a forest clearing 100 m up until you reach a forest road with a small hut. Follow the forest road to the right, shortly afterward you reach the flattened forest road descending from the Bernhardseckhütte. Follow it gently uphill to a left curve, here moderately steep uphill through a well-recognizable forest clearing until you meet the forest road again at about 1520 m. Follow it to the staffed Bernhardseckhütte, 1812 m. Always on the ridge over broken, moderately steep terrain to the highest point "On the Mutte." Descend the same way.
Author’s recommendation
