Seitekopf, 2,344 m

From the hiking parking lot in Gramais, first follow a forest road towards Sattele. After a few minutes, another forest road (sign: Seitekopf) branches off to the left, which you follow again for a few minutes. After about 100 meters of altitude gain, a signpost ("Seitekopf") points right up a cattle pasture. Initially following indistinct trail traces slightly to the left uphill, before a clearly marked path leads into the forest. On it, quite steeply upwards into a small saddle, then left up along the increasingly exposed southwest ridge. The narrow path winds along numerous avalanche barriers. The last 300 meters of altitude gain go steeply over the uneven grassy ridge, where the path becomes somewhat scree-covered. Ascent time about 2 1/2 hours. Descent on the same path takes about 2 hours.
