A Kenyhercz család hosszú ideje a közelben élt, egyik tagjuk a 20. század közepe tájékán ásta ki a kutat. Amiről azonban nem lehetett tudni, merre van, valószínűleg részben be is temetődött, és a család végül egy régi térkép segítségével talált rá a 2020-as évek elején. Ezután építették ki a kutat.

- Füzérkajatáról kövessük a K◼ jelzést a faluban csatlakozó Kéktúráig, ahol forduljunk jobbra a K jelzésre. Ez vezet a forráshoz (3,7 km, 230 m szintemelkedés).
- Füzérradványból a K jelzések vezetnek a forráshoz a Korom-tetőn át (4,8 km, 314 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Füzérkajatán és Füzérradványban is a falu végén, az erdei út mellett érdemes parkolni.
