Top to Bottom 2.0

Up to the start of the Top to Bottom 2.0 route on the Bernina Pass with the RhB. The challenging Poschiavino Trail is the first to be ridden. It is named after the Poschiavino River, which accompanies the trail repeatedly and springs near the impressive limestone formations I Gessi. After the limestone mountains, it goes through Val Laguné to the entrance of Val di Camp. From Angeli Custodi it's an easy roll to the Piazza of Poschiavo, where a gelato or pizza awaits. The second part starts again at the Bernina Pass. The RhB also takes you up from Poschiavo (bike carriages on the regional trains). The second descent through Val Bernina is less steep. Over the easy Lago Bianco, Bernina, Arlas, and Alp Bondo Trails, you reach the moderately difficult Morteratsch Trail to the pass road near Morteratsch. One hairpin up and to the start of the Montebello Trail, which takes you to Pontresina.
