A Piribék-tisztás egy festői rét a Nagy-Galla északi tövében, a Galla-tisztás északi „testvére”, ahova turistautak fontos csomópontja is esik.
A Börzsöny nyugati részének turistaútjait járva a Nagy-Galla északi oldalában fontos elágazáshoz érünk, amit nemcsak a Börzsönyi Kéktúra szel át, de a Letkésről induló Z jelzésű ösvény és a Mária út is. A Börzsönyben igazi kuriózumnak számító fás-ligetes, árnyas réten nincsen kiépített pihenőhely, mégis remek helyszín egy hosszabb-rövidebb pihenő megtartására. Vízvételi lehetőség a közelben sajnos nincsen.
A rét neve ma Piribék formában szerepel a térképeken, régebben Pribék-tisztás volt. A hagyomány szerint ez onnan ered, hogy tanya állt a közelben, ahol a betyárok az elrabolt vagyont a falubeliek között szétosztották, ám a „pribék pandúrok” erről tudomást szereztek, és lecsaptak rájuk.
A tisztástól dél felé haladva a K jelzésen rövidesen elérjük a Nagy-Gallára vezető K▲ jelzésű, bitang meredek és veszélyesen csúszós ösvényt, így ha a 479 m magas kúp megmászása a tervünk, jobb is, ha a Piribék-tisztáson szusszanunk előtte egyet.

- A legközelebbi buszmegálló a Márianosztra, autóbusz-forduló.
- A Letkés, községháza buszmegállóból is elindulhatunk.
- Az Ipolydamásd, Templom buszmegálló szintén lehet túránk kiinduló- vagy végpontja.

- Letkésről indulva a Z jelzésű turistaúton érjük el a tisztást (4,4 km, 264 m szintemelkedés).
- Ipolydamásdról a K+, majd a K jelzésű turistaúton balra fordulva érjük el a tisztást (6,0 km, 294 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Márianosztrán több ingyenes parkolóhelyet is találunk, érdemes a vasútállomás közelében letenni az autót.
- Letkésen a faluközpontban van ingyenes parkoló.
- Az ipolydamásdi vár alatti ingyenes parkolóban is hagyhatjuk az autót.
