A Széles-hegy északi oldalán, kb. 450 méteres magasságban, egy lefolyástalan területen apró láp alakult ki. A Fekete-mocsarat Fekete-sárnak és Rakottyás-tónak is jelölik egyes térképek.
A Börzsönyi Kéktúra útvonalán járva a Koppány-nyereg és a Széles-hegy között, utóbbihoz közelebb egy hangulatos helyen is áthaladunk: a lefolyástalan, ezért vizenyős Fekete-mocsár teknőjén.
Az időjárási körülményektől függően akár teljesen kiszáradó, apró tisztás északi oldalán puritán pihenőhelyet is találunk: két egymáshoz toldott faasztalt és a hozzájuk tartozó padokat. Bár nem egy eszményi pihenőhely, de ha a Széles-tető felé tartunk, itt érdemes lehet rápihenni az előttünk álló kaptatóra, amelyen viszonylag rövid távon 40 métert emelkedünk a 499 méteres csúcsig.

- A legközelebbi buszmegálló a Márianosztra, autóbusz-forduló.
- A Letkés, községháza buszmegállóból is elindulhatunk.
- A Nagybörzsöny, községháza buszmegálló szintén lehet túránk kiinduló- vagy végpontja.

- Márianosztráról a Z jelzésű turistaúton induljunk el, majd az elágazásban fordjunk jobbra a K jelzésű útra (4,4 km, 294 m szintemelkedés)
- Letkésről a Z jelzésű turistaúton induljunk el, majd az elágazásban forduljunk balra a K jelzésű útra (7,5 km, 438 m szintemelkedés).
- Nagybörzsöny felől a K jelzésű úton induljunk déli irányba, és kövessük végig a jelzést a Fekete-mocsárig (6,1 km, 315 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Márianosztrán több ingyenes parkolóhelyet is találunk, érdemes a vasútállomás közelében letenni az autót.
- Nagybörzsönyben a központban találunk ingyenes parkolóhelyeket.
- Letkésen a faluközpontban van ingyenes parkoló.
