Through former cultivated land to an old fortress with a magnificent view of the Bay of Kotor.
The location of the fortress Vranovo Brdo ("Crow Mountain") is no coincidence: from it, you can overlook the entire Bay of Kotor almost to where it opens into the open sea.
Many of the slopes below the ruins were used for agriculture in earlier times, evidenced by numerous stone terraces and the remains of former farmhouses. Today, sparse macchia has reclaimed the area, and in spring it blooms colorfully all around.
Old stone and military paths still remain and form the basis of the described circular route.

Roadbook
Directly below the parking lot at the Church of St. George (Crkva Sveti Đorda) begins a path that slopes diagonally to the right and initially descends slightly into a valley. Soon it rises again and passes a rock wall to reach a T-junction. Here you turn sharply right, then shortly afterward make a left hairpin turn and continue uphill on a paved stone path that soon transitions into gentle switchbacks. At an altitude of about 185 m, the footpath leaves the old stone path and leads straight through macchia and sparse oak forest uphill. At a fork, keep left and walk flat along stone terraces, passing a dilapidated house on the right, and soon rejoin a paved stone path that continues flat uphill. It climbs in switchbacks, later in a long curve to the right, then past a stone building on the left, and again uphill in switchbacks to a T-junction on the ridge. Here turn left and follow a wide stone path that behind a saddle makes a long right hairpin turn, thus returning to the ridge. Past two old stone houses, the path gradually bends left and continues in several wide curves and some short switchbacks gently uphill until you see the ruins of Vranovo Brdo ahead and climb up to them.
The return route follows the ascent path to the T-junction behind the saddle, where you continue straight ahead and slightly uphill. After crossing terrain, continue uphill until the old stone path bends right. Here you turn left onto an inconspicuous trail that leads around a fortress, whose ruins you see on the top right. The trail gradually turns right and descends gently to the small chapel Sveti Nikola that stands at the edge of a meadow.
On the right side of the meadow next to the power lines, follow an inconspicuous path that descends in switchbacks south into a gorge and gradually becomes more distinct. Further down the path flattens out and passes a scree field where clear trail markers begin. Following the sign "Orahovac," descend deeper and finally reach a watering place for cattle from where you see the church tower of Crkva Sveti Đorda and soon thereafter reach the starting point again.
