A Szelcepusztától északra húzódó Patkós-völgyben kiépített forrás és erdei bútorokkal felszerelt fedett pihenő nyújt kényelmet a túrázóknak.
Az erdészeti utat követő Országos Kéktúra mentén található pihenőhely kiváló lehetőség a kulacsok feltöltésére. A bővizű forrásra szárazabb időszakokban is lehet számítani, frissítő (és fogyasztható) nedűje vascsövön keresztül tör a felszínre. Az erdős környezetben található foglalás mellett padokkal, asztalokkal és fedett esőbeállóval kiépített erdei pihenőt, valamit tűzrakót és információs táblákat találunk.
Az árnyas Patkós-völgy forrása különösen a nyári melegben jelenthet oázist a tikkadt vándoroknak. A Puska Pál-forrás táplálja a Patkós-völgyben csörgedező erecskét, ami lejjebb a Ménes-patakba ömlik. A csurgót Patkós-forrásnak is nevezik, elterjedtebb nevét pedig egy bükki erdészről, vadászról kaphatta.
