A Visegrádi-hegység egyik kevéssé ismert kilátóhelye a Hirsch-orom, amely egy félreeső gerinc peremén töri át a hatalmas erdőtakarót.
A Hirsch-orom paddal-asztallal ellátott hátán obeliszk díszeleg, melyet Magyarország ezeréves fennállásának emlékére, és „Hirsch István főerdő tanácsos tiszteletére” építettek. A kitett breccsaszirtről nagyszabású, és kevesek által felkeresett panoráma nyílik: alant a széles, erdő bélelte Malom-völgy húzódik, mely jobbra egészen Dobogókő hátáig vezeti a tekintetet. Ott a Disznós-árok mély árkába torkollik, míg ellenkező irányban a Duna szalagja is megcsillan. Szemben a Szakó-hegy és a Hosszú-hegy magasodnak, de kibukkan a Szent Mihály-hegy ferde tetővonala is.
Az Alsó-Ecset-hegy oldalában megbújó szirt viszonylagos járatlanságát annak köszönheti, hogy a településektől távol, egy hosszú, elágazás nélküli turistaút mentén található. A közelben kicsi, esővédő faviskó található, mely vihar esetén hamar hasznossá válhat. Az észak felé lekanyarodó ösvény meredeksége miatt nehezen járható, és különösen csúszós, végigjárásához ajánlott túracipő és túrabot használata.

- A Piliszentlélek, alsó buszmegálló az egyik lehetséges startpont az orom eléréséhez.
- A Pilismarót, községháza buszmegálló a hegyre vezető túra másik lehetséges kezdőpontja.
- A Pilisszentkereszt, Dobogókő hegytető buszmegállóból is indíthatjuk a túrát.

Directions
- Pilisszentlélekről a főutcából kiágazó Petőfi Sándor utcán kell nekivágnunk a P jelzésen, mely elvezet a kilátóhelyhez (3 km, 171 m szintemelkedés).
- Pilismarótról a P jelzés vezet fel az oromra (6 km, 308 m szintemelkedés).
- Dobogókőről a P jelzést kell követni a Szakó-nyeregig, ahol balra térünk a Z+ jelekre. Ezeket az Égett hárs nyergéig követjük, ahonnan jobbra, a P jelzés kalauzol el a Hirsch-oromra (7,9 km, 156 m szintemelkedés).

- Pilisszentléleken érdemes a pálos kolostornál parkolni.
- Pilismaróton a település központjában, a bolt előtt találni parkolót.
- Dobogókő központjában nagy parkoló található.
