The Kuhmo Evangelical Lutheran parish church is located near the shore of Lake Lammasjärvi ih the center of Kuhmo. There are also organized Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival concerts.
Kuhmo church was built in 1816. The church can accommodate 1500 people.
The service is on Sundays at 10 am. The eucharist is usually twice a month.
The Kuhmo church operates in the summer as a road church.
