Egészen 1970-ig nem lehetett tudni a templom pontos helyét. Nem csoda: sűrű erdő veszi körül, ahol az ember nyomai meglepő gyorsasággal tudnak átalakulni és eltűnni.
A kis templom falmaradványain jól látszik az egykori kapu nyoma. A látogatókat információs tábla tárjékoztatja az épület fénykoráról. Állagmegóvás 2007-ben történt, fakeresztet is állítottak mellé. Névadója a régészek védőszentje.

A buszmegállótól a Kinizsi utcán nyugat felé indulunk, majd az elágazásnál egyenes irány tartva (a Jókai Mór utcán) belefutunk az Országos Kéktúra K jelzésébe, melyen már irányban vagyunk. Az erdőszéli réteken a K jelzés a patak mellé érve először éles balkanyart tesz, majd rövidesen jobbra kanyarodik. E kanyar után 150 méterrel, balra indul a fák közé, a romhoz vezető ösvény (3 km, 66 m szintemelkedés).
