This circular route is suitable for experienced cyclists or pedelec and e-bike riders.
A demanding circular course takes you through wild romantic valleys and scenic heights.
Start and finish is at the Rheinberger building which houses the Science Center Dynamikum. A hands-on museum where touching is expressly allowed. The tourist info is located on the ground floor. There you can rent pedelecs for half-day or full-day tours. Adjacent is the Strecktal park. Herb garden and a lake invite you to relax. There is also a disc golf facility in the park. In Dusenbrücken, you pass the Eichelsbachermühle, Schelermühle, and Littersbachermühle before reaching the town of Niedersimten. Here you can discover the impressive Westwall Museum. The Naturfreundehaus Niedersimten invites you to enjoy typical Palatinate dishes.
On this circular route, we find portals that excitingly present the history of the mill valleys.
UFFBASSE! - Campaign for considerate coexistence in nature
- Always behave attentively, kindly and considerately towards everyone you meet along the way.
- Respect nature, do not destroy plants, and always stay on the paths. Try to avoid excessive noise and leave the forest before dusk.
- Remember a trash bag for the way and take your waste back home.
- Please keep your dog on a leash at all times. Other visitors and animals will thank you.
- For your own safety, observe all path closures, even on weekends.
- Park only in designated parking areas. Leave space for emergency vehicles and agricultural machinery.
- Give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.

Naturfreundehaus NiedersimtenSafety information
Cycling on farm roads - Our bike routes often run on paths that are shared with others. We therefore ask for considerate and friendly behavior at all times. Winemakers, farmers, and foresters use the farm roads through fields, forests, and vineyards for their daily work (also on weekends) and always have priority. Due to work operations and/or weather conditions, these paths can sometimes be more heavily soiled. Special caution is also advised when cycling on the (mostly quiet and lightly trafficked) roads in and around the Palatinate villages.
