The Dynamikum is the first science center in Rhineland-Palatinate where you can participate, research, experience, and marvel. At the Dynamikum, everyone becomes an explorer. On two floors and around 4000 square meters of exhibition space, everything in the former shoe factory "Rheinberger" revolves around the theme of movement.
It has never been so exciting and entertaining to gain access to the fundamental laws that govern our lives and the entire world. How can kinetic energy be converted into mechanical energy? Why is it much easier to lift loads with a cleverly positioned lever than with bare hands? How can a ball roll uphill? At Dynamikum, you can find the answers to these questions and many more.
The best part: Here, you don't just look from afar, but can actively try things out – over 160 exhibits await big and small guests to explore exciting and astonishing phenomena from natural sciences and technology in a playful manner.
And in nice weather, unusual outdoor exhibits on the theme of "uplift" beckon in the adjacent Strecktal Nature Park.
Regular special exhibitions and events ensure that there is always something new to discover.
Admission is free for Pfalzcard holders.
During the Rheinland-Palatinate school holidays, Dynamikum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm.
