Der Wasserfall Cascata del Varone entstand, als sich vor mehreren 10 000 Jahren der Gletscher am Gardasee zurückzog und das Schmelzwasser sich seinen Weg durchs Gestein bahnte. Die Erosion schuf bei Varone eine einzigartige Schlucht, durch die der fast 100 m hoher Wasserfall stürzt. Die Anlage kann von zwei Punkten aus besichtigt werden: Aus dem Inneren der Schlucht nahe des Endes des Wasserfalles, oder von einer Plattfor 40 m höher.
Von November bis Februar ist die Schlucht töglich von 10.00 Uhr bis 17.00 Uhr geöffnet, im März und Oktober von 09.00 Uhr bis 17.00 Uhr, im April und September von 09.00 Uhr bis 18.00 Uhre und während der Sommermonate von 09.00 Uhr bis 19.00 Uhr.

Der Eintritt kostet 5,50 € (Stand April 2015).
