A hely igencsak kedvez az evezősöknek: a strand melletti fás, árnyas parkoló, különösen jó induló- és érkezőponttá teszi. A betonozott rámpán könnyű vízre tenni akár a nehezebb csónakot is.
A festői környezetben fekvő Zebegényben érdemes meglátogatni a Szőnyi István Emlékmúzeumot, a kálváriadombon a sziklakápolnát és a Hajózástörténeti Gyűjteményt is.
