Srečanje na sedlu Rožca

Izletniška točka s čudovitim razgledom na okoliške vrhove.

Sedlo Rožca se nahaja na nadmorski višini 1587m med dvema vrhovoma - Hruškim vrhom na nadmorski višini 1776 m in 1753m visokim Klekom. Manjša planšarska koča se nahaja nekaj metrov pod sedlom in je zaprta, vendar si obiskovalci lahko oddahnejo na zunanjih klopeh. S sedla Rožca imamo prelep razgled na Mežaklo, Julijske Alpe, avstrijski Koprivnjak in seveda na Hruški vrh ter Klek.

V septembru se vsako leto tu srečajo prijatelji z obeh strani meje: predstavniki Šentjakoba v Rožu iz Avstrije in predstavniki Jesenic iz Slovenije. Družabno srečanje pripravi vsako leto druga stran. Tradicionalno srečanje na Rožci se zadnja leta imenuje Arh-Jenullovo srečanje v spomin na Antona Arha in Ernsta Jenulla, ki sta prva pričela prijateljevati in čezmejno sodelovati.

Do sedla Rožca lahko pridemo iz Planine pod Golico ali Rogarjevega rovta, lahko pa se zapeljemo tudi do Dovjega (ali malce višje) in od tam krenemo proti sedlu.
