Skvelým tipom na rodinný výlet je hruška na Mestkej Bôrovej, ktorá sa nachádza nad rovnomennou osadou, ktorá je súčasťou mesta Martin.

Ak by ste chceli toto miesto navštíviť, odporúčame Vám jednoduchý okruh, ktorý začína v Tomčanoch. Popod alej, ktorá Vás dovedie až k pristávacej dráhe miestneho letiska sa asfaltovou cestou dostanete práve k spomínanej osade, ktorú tvorí pár domov. Krátkou cestou vystúpite popri tunajších záhradkách až na vyvýšený hrebeň. Z tohto miesta môžete obdivovať časť Turca a okolité horstvá. Ak sa vyberiete chodníčkom vpravo, dostanete sa do obce Dražkovce. Vy však musíte ísť vľavo – smerom na sever. Po niekoľkých minútach sa vám otvorí scenéria s kotlinkou, v ktorej sa nachádza tento nádherný solitérny strom. Miesto skvelé na relax, výlet na bicykli, ale aj beh. Ak budete pokračovať chodníkom popri brezovom lesíku, klesaním sa rýchlo dostanete na asfaltovú cestu. Tá vedie do mestskej časti Košúty. Práve tu nájdete jazierko s peknými drevenými sochami a lokalitu Hrádok – Attilov hrob.
