A unique system of seven fishponds cleverly connected by water serpentines and cascades that bring water to Turčianska Štiavnička. They were built in 1875 by Count Révay. An easy path in the shade of trees regularly crosses a stream with small waterfalls. It is especially popular with children. It offers refreshment and fun even in hot summer. It starts at a gazebo with a mineral spring at the southern end of Turčianska Štiavnička. From the highest pond, you can continue even higher to the summit of Teplica hill, to a place called “At the cross.” Not only is there an amazing view of the ridge of the Malá Fatra mountain range, but thanks to a local artistic woodcarver, every peak of the panorama can be identified. You can return back by a forest road.
