A Kiengesztelődés hegye egy kevéssé ismert kilátópont Márianosztrától keletre, amelyről széles panoráma nyílik dél felé. A hegy egy másik pontjáról pedig a Magas-Börzsöny tömbjét is szemrevételezhetjük.
Márianosztra környékén számos, remek kilátóponttal felvértezett hegyet találunk, és akad köztük egy kevéssé ismert is: a Kiengesztelődés hegye. A csúcs a Márianosztrára érkező zarándokoktól kapta nevét: a búcsúsok ugyanis itt pillantják meg először a település bazilikáját, ahol bűnbocsánatot és lelki terheiktől való megszabadulát nyernek. A Márianosztra és Kóspallag közti P jelzésről kiágazó, rövid P▲ jelzésű ösvény vezet el a hegy nyugat felé nyitott rétjére, ahonnan Márianosztra medencéjére, és annak jellegzetes pontjaira, a Nagy-Gallára, a Zuvári-hegyre és a Csák-hegy kőbányájára pillanthatunk rá. Tekintetünket a távolban tornyosuló hegyek dél felé húzzák, a Duna mögött már a Visegrádi-hegység és a Pilis vonulatai tűnnek fel.
Ha a P jelzésen Kóspallag felé megyünk tovább, előbb egy névtelen katona sírjára lelhetünk a fák között, kicsivel arrébb pedig egy tarvágásnak köszönhetően kilátást is kapunk a Börzsöny központjának irányába: közelebb a Sós-hegy és a Nagy-Sas-hegy alacsonyabb tömbje látszik, távolabb pedig a Kis-Inóc és a Nagy-Hideg-hegy emelkedik jóval magasabbra a börzsönyi központi kaldera délnyugati felén.

- A legközelebbi buszmegálló a Márianosztra, autóbusz-forduló.
- A Kóspallag, Kossuth utca buszmegálló is jó kiindulópont lehet.

- A Márianosztra, autóbusz-forduló megállóból a P jelzéseket kövessük keleti irányban elindulva. A hegycsúcsra jobbra a rövid P▲ jelzésű turistaút vezet el (2,2 km, 144 m szintemelkedés).
- A Kóspallag, Kossuth utca buszmegállóból a P jelzésű turistaúton induljunk nyugati irányban, majd a hegycsúcsnál forduljunk balra a rövid P▲ jelzésű turistaútra (2,8 km, 139 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Márianosztrán a Dózsa György utca és az Ady Endre utca kereszteződésénél található füves placcon hagyhatjuk az autót.
- Kóspallagon a Kossuth utca buszmegálló közelében találunk parkolóhelyeket.
