Az Eremény-tető északi kilátópontjáról a Világos-hegytől a Galya-tetőig tárulkozik ki a MátraPhoto: Falvi Péter, Hungarian Hiking Association
Legjelentősebb tisztása és panorámapontja a nyugati: innen a gyöngyössolymosi Kis-hegyre, az Alföld síkjára, illetve a Mátra délnyugati szegletére látunk rá. Az északi hegyoldalból a Világos-hegytől a Galya-tetőig nyílik széles kilátás, előterükben egyfajta „katlant” szemlélhetünk. A fák lombkoronáján a kékesi TV-torony is áttünedezik.

Az Eremény-tetőn annak panorámáján kívül egyéb dolgokat is felfedezhetünk. Végigkövethető például a hegyen körbefutó késő bronzkori kősánc maradványa. Szintén izgalmasak lehetnek a meredek északi oldal különleges formájú sziklaalakzatai, illetve a zsombékos Nyár-tó, ami a Sás-tó 1960-as lecsapolása előtti képét is megidézi.

- Tömegközlekedéssel érkezve a Sástó buszmegállóból közelítsük meg a kilátóhelyet.

Directions
- A Sástó buszmegállóból, illetve a mellette található parkolóból a S+ jelzésen indulunk észak felé, majd a rét végén a balra induló jelzetlen ösvényre térünk. Ezen teszünk meg nagyjából 500 métert, majd a jobb oldalt felfelé vezető csapáson jutunk el az Eremény-tető kilátópontjára (1,1 km, 9 m szintemelkedés).
- A Sástó északi parkolójából ugyanezen a jelzetlen ösvényen, majd nagyjából 500 m múlva jobbra, csapásra térve érkezünk meg úti célunkhoz (670 m, 2 m szintemelkedés).

Sástó központi parkolójában 700 Ft-os napidíj ellenében hagyhatjuk az autót.

Sástótól északra, a 24-es útról nyugatra kiágazó szervizúton egy erdei parkolóhelyet találunk, itt ingyen hagyhatjuk a kocsit.
