Die Walser Hammerspitze liegt auf der Grenze zwischen Oberstdorf im Allgäu (D) und Mittelberg im Kleinwalsertal (A) und ist 2170 m hoch. Die langjährige Verwirrung um den Namen, ob der Gipfel denn nun Hammerspittze oder Schüsser heißt, wurde bei einer Neuregelung im Jahr 2013 aufgelöst. Link zum DAV-Artikel.
