Der Einstein ist ein Gipfel oberhalb von Tannheim mit bester Rundumsicht in die Berglandschaft des Tannheimer Tals.
Der Hausberg von Tannheim ist nicht nach dem berühmten Wissenschaftler benannt, sondern nach seiner Form, die einem „alleinstehenden Steinberg” nachkommt. Vom Gipfel bietet sich eine tolle Panoramasicht auf das Tannheimer Tal mit dem Haldensee sowie zahlreiche Berge der Umgebung. Im Nordosten sind Aggenstein und Breitenberg und im Osten Köllenspitze, Gimpel und Rote Flüh zu sehen, im Südwesten Hochvogel, Gaishorn, Rohnenspitze, Ponten und Bschießer. Auch die Westwände der Zugspitze können in Richtung Osten erspäht werden. Auf den Einstein führt ein steiler, aber nicht schwieriger Pfad von Tannheim hinauf, der eine schöne Halbtagestour bildet. Der Weg von Norden auf den Berg ist kniffliger und fordert Trittsicherheit und Vorsicht bei Nässe.
