Der Edelsberg liegt am Alpenrand der Allgäuer Alpen bei Nesselwang.

Der Name dieses Bergs ist seit Jahrhunderten nachweislich in Gebrauch. Vermutlich ist die Bezeichnung auf den altdeutschen Namen Adalin oder Edlin zurückzuführen. Am Gipfel steht ein Pavillon, der nach dem historischen Vorbild einer offenen Unterstandshütte für Wanderer aus dem Jahr 1888 errichtet wurde. Der Edelsberg war außerdem einer der südlichsten Endpunkte im ersten bayerischen Hauptdreiecksnetz. Über Forststraßen und Wanderwege ist der Gipfel gut zu erreichen, am schnellsten geht es mit der Alpspitzbahn und das letzte Stück zu Fuß.
