Parádóhuta házai és az erdő találkozásánál egy szépen kiépített, fedett forrásfoglalást találunk, mely egyike a Mátrára oly jellemző, szénsavas, kénes szagú vízfeltöréseknek, azaz csevicéknek.

A csevicék a terület igazi különlegességei. A szláv eredetű szó eredeti jelentése „savanyú”.

Ennek a forrásnak alacsony a szulfáttartalma, a kénhidrogénes ízt sem érezzük, viszont a magas vastartalomnak köszönhetően vize a rozsdás kútvízhez hasonlít leginkább.

A kiépített forrás körüli kis tisztás szélén padokat is találunk.
