Erdei pihenőhely áll a Kéktúra mentén padokkal, esőbeállóval és bográcsozásra is alkalmas tűzrakó hellyel – a túrázók és a családok egyaránt megtalálják itt a kényelmes erdei pihenés feltételeit.
Romhány déli határában, közvetlenül az Országos Kéktúra nyomvonalán erdei pihenőhely kínál szabadtéri komfortot piknikezéshez vagy akár táborozáshoz. Az árnyékot adó lombok alatt tágas esőbeálló is helyet kapott, ami a nomád vándorok számára bivakszállásként is használható. Az akár 6-8 főnek is sima fekhelyet biztosító építmény nyitott, ezért a szél és a hideg ellen nem nyújt menedéket, a csapadékkal szemben azonban kiválóan véd.
Az esőbeálló mellett két méretes pad-asztal garnitúránál akár nagyobb társaságok is elférnek. Az épített, bográcsállvánnyal felszerelt tűzrakó körül további padokat találunk. A pihenőhely esőbeálló melletti sík talaja tökéletes a sátorállításhoz. A táborhely forrással, vécével vagy kukával nem rendelkezik. A legközelebbi vízvételezési lehetőség a kb. 600 méterre fekvő romhányi temető közkútja. A pihenés vagy táborozás során keletkezett szemetet vigyük magunkkal!
A gépjárművel is megközelíthető pihenő közelében információs táblán olvashatunk a szomszédos Romhányról és az innen két és fél kilométerre fekvő Prónay-kilátóról, ahonnan az egész Cserhátra rálátni.

- A Romhány, községháza buszmegállótól a Kossuth utcán keleti irányba, majd a K jelzésen jobbra fordulva érhetjük el a pihenőhelyet (2,5 km, 63 m szintemelkedés).
- Az Országos Kéktúra romhányi bélyegzőjétől a K jelzésen jutunk ide (1,5 km, 57 m szintemelkedés).
- A Prónay-kilátótól a K▲ jelzésen és az Országos Kéktúra K jelzésén érkezhetünk a pihenőhöz (2,9 km, 3 m szintemelkedés).
- Alsópetényből az Országos Kéktúra K jelzésén juthatunk el a pihenőhelyre (5,6 km, 210 m szintemelkedés).

- Az erdei pihenőig vezető út mentén, Romhány szélén le lehet parkolni az autót.
