Puskaporos egy kétvágányos állomás Felsőhámor felett a hegyoldalban, amely a közeli magaslatról kapta a nevét.
Az állomáshoz közel, a felsőhámori temetőben találjuk Fazola Henrik és Herman Ottó emlékművét, a faluban található továbbá a Kohászati Múzeum az úgynevezett kancellária épületében, ahol a magyarországi vasművesség és népek fémművességgel ismerkedhetünk meg, míg a völgy másik oldalán, a hegyoldalban az ősember-leleteket rejtő Szeleta-barlang várja a látogatókat.
Puskaporos feltételes megállóhely, azaz a vonatok csak akkor állnak itt meg, ha van le- vagy felszálló utas.

- Az 5 és 15 jelzésű helyi autóbuszjáratokról Felsőhámor megállóhelyen célszerű leszállni.

Directions
- Felsőhámor megállóhelyen leszállva a faluba a bal oldali utcán (Losonczy István utca) menj be, és kövesd a K+ jelzést az utcán, majd az első lehetőségnél (szintén a jelzést követve) fordulj balra. A kis utca egy ösvényben folytatódik, ami a Puskaporos utcára vezet, itt megint balra fordulva, továbbra is a K+ jelzést követve éred el a kisvasút állomását.
- A K+ jelzésen a Hegyes-rét érhető el az erdőn keresztül, míg Felsőhámor, azaz a völgy felé indulva Felsőhámoron át a Szeleta-barlang (KΩ jelzés), illetve Lillafüred felé vezet az út.
Parking
- Az állomás közvetlen közelében lehet parkolni, a Puskaporos utca egy kiszélesedő részén. (Figyelem! Az út nagyrészt köves dózerút, de autóval jól járható.)
