Bázakerettye felső megállóhelyről érhető el legkönnyebben gyalog a helyi strand- és termálfürdő. A megállóhelyen áthalad a P jelzés (Olajos körút), és a párhuzamosan futó aszfaltúton fut a Rockenbauer Pál Dél-dunántúli Kéktúra útvonala.
Bázakerettye felső feltételes megállóhely, azaz a vonatok csak akkor állnak itt meg, ha van le- vagy felszálló utas.

- A helyközi autóbuszjáratokról Bázakerettye, Fő út megállóhelyen leszállva a Fő úton dél felé kell indulni, körülbelül 200 métert kell sétálni; a kisvasúti megállóhely az út bal oldalán található, kicsivel a település határát jelző tábla után.
- A P jelzésen (Olajos körút) az aszfaltúton átkelve, nyugati irányba indulva a Budafapusztai Arborétum érhető el.
