Von Salzburg Hauptbahnhof verkehrt regelmäßig die Regionallinie 150 über St. Gilgen nach Bad Ischl und umgekehrt (Haltestelle St. Gilgen Mozartblick).

Von der Haltestelle sind es knapp 5 Minuten zum Beginn der Reitnerstraße.
Directions
Auf der B 158 über Hof Richtung St. Gilgen, bis man oberhalb von St. Gilgen beim Parkplatz mit dem Wolfgangsee-Blick (Parkplatz Mühlradl) vorbeikommt. Auf der anderen Straßenseite befindet sich schräg gegenüber ebenfalls ein Parkplatz. Hierher auch von St. Gilgen über Mondsee – Scharfling (B 154) oder aus der Richtung Bad Ischl. Der Parkplatz liegt in diesem Fall 700 m nach dem Kreisverkehr auf der rechten Straßenseite. Bitte ausschließlich auf diesem bergseitigen Parkplatz parken, alle anderen Möglichkeiten am Zustiegsweg (Reitnerstraße) zum Plombergstein befinden sich auf Privatgrund!
