The motorcycle museum is located in the former Protestant church Otterbach.
With the financial and active support of the Heinz Luthringshauser Motorcycle Museum Association from the very beginning, Heinz Luthringshauser was able to create this astonishing documentation of over 80 years of motorcycle history, consisting of representative machines from German manufacturers from Adler, BMW, DKW to Zündapp and Italian, English and Japanese makes. The development of the motorcycle is impressively illustrated by the engines and cutaway models on display.
Heinz Luthringshauser (21.01.1931-05.09.1997) was German champion in the 500cc sidecar class in 1970, runner-up in the world championship in 1972 and winner of the Tourist Trophy (TT), the world's toughest road race on the Isle of Man, in 1974. One of the club's most recent activities has been the renovation of the church in which it is housed, preserving the original style.
