Monument to the Slovak National Uprising in Nemecká village
The old limestone pit located between the central Slovak villages of Ráztoka and Nemecká became the scene of one of the most tragic events in modern Slovak history.
V januárových dňoch 1945 sa stala miestom hromadných popráv priamych účastníkov SNP, ich rodinných príslušníkov, sympatizantov povstania a rasovo prenasledovaných osôb. Pravdepodobne tu bolo popravených do 900 osôb (z toho vyše 450 Židov).
Súčasnosť: od roku 2003 expozícia v správe Múzea SNP s názvom Represálie nacistov a príslušníkov POHG na Slovensku v rokoch 1944-1945 - otváracie hodiny: denne okrem pondelka od 09:00 do 16:00 hod
