Grabmal des Général Monclar
General Joseph der Ponts Baron de Monclar was the city commander during the construction of the fortress. In 1690, he died in Landau and was buried in the choir of the collegiate church. The baroque tomb monument that stood in the choir of the collegiate church until 1959, which is now located near the French Gate, is richly decorated with war ornaments.
