A kilátóterasz mellett padokból és asztalokból álló pihenőhelyet alakítottak ki, így az erre járók kényelmesen piknikezhetnek is. A helyszínen egy infotábla is áll, ami a termálvizéről híres településhez kapcsolódóan a bükkszéki termálkarszt vízrajzát mutatja be szép illusztrációkkal megspékelve.
A bükkszéki kilátóteraszt egy nagyobb, hét települést érintő térségi összefogás, a Környezettudatos kiállítóterek a Mátra túraútvonalain pályázat keretében emelték 2024-ben, amelynek célja a környék túraútvonalainak és látnivalóinak bővítése volt.

- A Bükkszék, iskola buszmegállóból a Béke úton induljunk el északra, majd a kereszteződésben forduljunk jobbra a P▲ jelzésű turistaútra (570 m, 22 m szintemelkedés).
- A Bükkszék, felső bejárati út buszmegállóból induljunk el Bükkszék felé az Egri úton, majd az első utcán, a Hársfa utcán forduljunk jobbra. A P▲ jelzésű turistautat elérve forduljunk be balra a kilátóhoz (1,1 km, 7 m szintemelkedés).
- A fürdő parkolójából a P▲ jelzések vezetnek úti célunkhoz (450 m, 25 m szintemelkedés).
