The Taposó spring on SomlóPhoto: Farkas Péter
A Somló oldalában található kút 3 méter átmérőjű dobjában taposva lehet a vizet kiemelni a 80 méter mély kútból, innen ered a "taposó" elnevezés. Fából ácsolt kútháza a taposómalmok mintájára készült: a forgódobba bele kellett lépni, majd taposni, és a fogaskerék áttétek segítségével akár 1 hektoliteres hordót is a felszínre tudtak emelni.
Korábban gyakran használtak ilyen szerkezeteket hegyen épült várainkban, de mára csak ez az egy maradt. 1960-ban és 1997-ben is felújították.

- Ha busszal érkezünk, Somlóvásárhely, szőlőhegy megállónál érdemes leszállni.
- Vonattal Somlóvásárhely megállónál szálljunk le.

Directions
- A buszmegállóból induljunk el a hegy felé vezető úton. Még a Tornai pince előtt kanyarodjunk el jobbra, majd a keresztnél balra. Ez kivezet minket az útra, ahol balra fordulva követhetjük a P és S jelzéseket. Az út tetején balra találjuk a taposókutat (1,5 km).
- A vonatállomástól a főút felé indulunk el, átmegyünk az úton, majd a P és S jelzéseket követjük a kútig (2 km).

A parkolótól az úton nyugat felé elindulva 200 méterre találjuk a taposókutat.
