Balatonboglár nyugati részén, a kikötő mellett terül el a viszonylag csendes Sziget szabadstrand. A füves parton számos fa áll, így könnyedén találunk magunknak árnyékos, pihenésre alkalmas területet. A kövezett, betonos vízpartról fém lépcsők vezetnek a lassan mélyülő vízbe.
A kikötő melletti Sziget szabadstrand partján számos büfé várja az éhes fürdőzőket, a gyerekeket homokozó és néhány játszótéri elem várja, emellett vízibiciklit is kölcsönözhetünk a helyszínen.
