Balatonőszöd közel 2 km-es partszakasszal bíró település a Balaton déli partján. A kormányüdülő mellett, attól keletre található őszödi strand ingyenesen használható, és főként a csendes kikapcsolódásra vágyók körében igen népszerű. Partján fűves-fás liget terül el, ahol árnyékba bújhatunk a déli napsugarak elől.
A kisebbekre játszótér vár, emellett víziröplabda-, vízikosárlabda-, füves röplabda-, strandfoci- és kosárlabda pálya is van a területen, valamint vízibicikli kölcsönzésre is van lehetőség a strandon. Büfé is üzemel a szabadstrandon. A part menti, közvilágítással is ellátott sétány a település üde, hangulatos színfoltja.

- A szomszédos vonatállomások (Balatonszemes, Balatonszárszó) több kilométerre vannak a strandtól, így ha a tömegközlekedést választjuk, busszal érdemes utazni. A távolsági és/vagy a helyközi járatokról a Balatonőszöd, 7. sz. út nevű megállónál szálljunk le!

Directions
- A buszmegállóból a Tündér utcán elindulunk a Balaton felé. Átkelünk a síneken, majd jobbra megkerüljük a kormányüdülő területét. Balra kanyarodva megérkezünk a partra.
Parking
- A strand előtt ingyenesen parkolhatunk.
