Hivatalosan 2009-ben nyitotta meg az önkormányzat a kezelésében lévő területen a strandot.
Étterem, büfé, strand röplabda pálya, játszótér, közelben üzletek, kenu bérbeadás, öltöző fülkék teszik egyre népszeűbbé.
Vízi túrázók számára alkalmas kijelölt (fizetős) sátorozóhely áll rendelkezésre.
